Testing windows based applications by RFT

With the help of Rational Functional tester we can test the windows applications also along with the web based applications.To record and play back the scripts for windows based application please ensure you have microsoft .NET Framework installed on your system. I used to work on the putty application that is window based applications for connecting to a unix server machine.
whatever the command that you will record there on the putty can be playback.So if you are not able to record and playback the scripts on windows based applications please make sure that you fulfill the above requirement.
